This page is only important if you use your own device to write the exam! If you are enrolled for the “Lehrsaal”-group you will use devices provided by TU Graz.

You will need a WIFI connection during the exam; past experience showed that mobile hotspots usually do not work well - we suggest eduroam.
Please make sure that you have your (fully charged) notebook with you. In addition, you need to install the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) before the exam takes place. We opened a SEB test activity in the Exam-TeachCenter [1], where you can test the SEB login. The exam contains some questions from the previous exams for you to prepare and test if SEB is working correctly. Please also check if copying code from the Exam TeachCenter into onlineGDB (and back) works as expected. We do not have time for troubleshooting during the exam, so please ensure that everything is installed and tested before.
Important I: The latest versions of SEB (>3.5.0) have a known issue. You are not able to copy from a text field into your clipboard. This may cause problems with the programming part of the exam and could result in being unable to submit your code. For this reason, we ask you to install SEB 3.5.0 [2]; there are no such issues. After that, check if copying works between onlineGDB and the textfield of the sample exam inside SEB.
Important II: After SEB opens, you must sign in (again) in Exam TeachCenter (https://exam.tugraz.at). Unfortunately, SEB does not store your credentials (TUGrazOnline username and password). This means you have to know your credentials since you do not have access to your Browser-stored password (or password manager, etc.) Please also make sure that you have your second factor (mobile phone) with you for login!
