In group assignments, we unfortunately often see that some participants have contributed significantly less to the submitted program than others. If the tutors determine during the assignment interview that a participant has not contributed to the same extent, the number of points achieved for that individual can be reduced accordingly. Whether the contributions of individual team members were balanced or not can be determined by tutors in several ways:

• by questioning team members about the submitted code and the concepts used in it, or
• by asking team members for their assessment of the division of work, or
• by viewing the git statistics

We also assume that all group members are familiar with all parts of the code, including those contributed by other individuals, and can make adjustments as needed. Additionally, we expect all group members to make a significant contribution to the shared Git repository.
