Exam Mode

The exam will be computer-aided, which means you will do the entire exam on a computer. Therefore, we will provide you with a safe exam environment called “Safe Exam Browser”.

Unfortunately, the Safe Exam Browser is just available for Windows and MacOS. Therefore, we offer two modes to write the exam:

• BYOD (”Bring your own device”): If you have a MacOS or Windows notebook you can write the exam in the lecture hall using the Safe Exam Browser on your device.
• LS (Lehrsaal): If you have a Linux device, we will provide you with a Windows computer in the “IT Lernzentrum” at TU Graz, where the Safe Exam Browser is installed.

Both modes are equal, which means the exam is identical and you work on the exam within the Safe Exam Browser.
